eSocial Technical Note S-1.3 No. 07/2026, dated 4 September, sets out a phased implementation schedule. For private employers, the October and November releases deserve particular attention.

The October changes include employee registration, leave and labour litigation reporting. The November release strengthens validation of dependants’ CPF numbers and adjusts information relating to health plan reimbursements. The published production dates are 26 October and 23 November 2026, respectively.

Our operational recommendation is to ask the payroll software provider for a release and testing plan, then identify which changes affect the company’s workforce. HR should validate source records before payroll closes; finance should confirm that benefit and reimbursement data reaches the local payroll team in a consistent format.

Keep a record of test results, rejected events and their resolution. A global payroll approval should be supported by confirmation that the Brazilian events were accepted. Check the official schedule again before each deployment, because implementation dates may change.
