Receita Federal released the third Receita Sintonia classification cycle of 2026 using September reference data. Classified businesses can inspect their own grade and the identified issues, including omitted declarations, overdue debts and registration inconsistencies. Companies that identify an error may request a justified electronic review through Receita’s services portal.

Turn the classification into a controlled review

Ewaider recommends reconciling the reported issues with filing receipts, payment evidence, tax ledgers and registration records before deciding whether a correction or a review request is appropriate. Keep an owner, supporting evidence and a resolution status for each discrepancy.

A favourable classification should not be used as a substitute for validating individual tax positions. Conversely, an apparent inconsistency should be checked before changing a return merely to match a dashboard. This is an operational compliance update, not a new general filing deadline.

Read the dates correctly

The original Receita announcement was published on 15 October. The Ministry of Finance republished it on 16 October; the reference data relate to September. None of those dates should be confused with Ewaider’s review date.
