eSocial revised Technical Note S-1.3 No. 07/2026 to adjust the validation of the infoMesmoMtv field in event S-2230 for leave starting on or after 26 October.
For reason codes 01 or 03, when the same employee contract has another leave within the preceding 60 days with the same reason code, the field must be reported as S or N. If no such prior leave exists, the field may be omitted or reported as N. For other reason codes, it must not be reported.
Apply only the stage that is in production
The 26 October package contains additional layout and validation changes. Other items from the technical note remain scheduled for 23 November, 14 December and 18 January 2027. The revised schedule should therefore be mapped by item rather than treated as one immediate release.
Ewaider recommends confirming the payroll vendor version, testing the affected S-2230 scenarios and retaining evidence of the validation rules applied. This is a technical reporting change. It does not create a new leave entitlement and is not a reason to change medical reason codes without supporting facts.
